About
Before and After Photo Maker is a small, single-purpose web tool. It takes two photos and turns them into a comparison — a slider, a side-by-side or a vertical stack, as an image, a GIF or MP4, or an interactive slider you can embed on your website — that you can post, send to a client or drop into a portfolio.
Why it exists
Making a good comparison in a general design app takes longer than it should: resize one photo, match the other, line up the edges, add two text boxes, export, repeat for a different aspect ratio. Most of the people doing this — clinics, contractors, coaches, retouchers — are making the same kind of image every week. A tool that does only that job can do it in under a minute.
How it's built
All image work happens in your browser with the Canvas API, MediaRecorder for video and a small open-source GIF encoder. There is no image server: photos are never uploaded. Signing in with Google is optional and does not upload your photos. That keeps your photos private and keeps the tool fast and cheap to run, which is why the free version can stay free.
How it makes money
Watermark-free exports are sold in packs: $9.90 once for 40 HD PNG, GIF, MP4 or link-free embed exports that never expire. A free account comes with 3 of them. There are no ads that track you and no subscription. See the refund policy.
