Privacy Policy

Short version: the photos you use with Before and After Photo Maker never leave your device. Images are never sent to our servers. Signing in is optional.

Your photos

• When you choose or drop a photo, your browser reads it locally. It is not uploaded, transmitted or stored by us.
• Previews and exports (PNG, GIF, MP4 and embed code) are created in your browser and saved directly to your device. Embed code contains your two photos inside the HTML; they reach a website only if you paste the code there.
• If you add a logo, it is kept in your browser's local storage so it is there on your next visit. It is never sent to us; remove it from the Logo panel at any time.
• Photos are held in browser memory only while the tab is open. Closing or reloading the page discards them.
• We do not use your photos for AI training, analytics or any other purpose — we never have access to them.

Information the website receives

Like any website, the hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard request data — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These server logs contain no image data. We don't set advertising or tracking cookies.

Your account (optional)

You can use the tool without an account. If you choose “Sign in”, you sign in with Google. We receive your Google name, email address and profile picture and store them, together with your session, in our account database (hosted by Turso) so you stay signed in. We do not receive your Google password and do not access Google Drive, Photos or contacts. Photos used in the editor still never leave your device.

For signed-in accounts we also keep an export-credit balance and a short history of credit changes: when credits were added, and when one was used or returned, with the export type (HD PNG, GIF, MP4 or embed). It never includes the images themselves.

Signing in sets a strictly necessary session cookie. It is not used for advertising. To delete your account data, email us from the address you signed in with.

Payments

When paid export packs launch, payments will be handled by PayPal. PayPal receives your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive only what is needed to confirm the purchase and handle refunds (such as a transaction ID and the email address on the order). We never see your card or bank details.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
