Terms of Service

By using Before and After Photo Maker (“the service”) you agree to these terms. They are written to be read.
Using the service
- You may use the free version for personal and commercial work.
- You must own the photos you use or have permission to use them. If a photo shows another person — a patient, a client — you are responsible for having their consent to publish it.
- Don't use the service to create misleading, defamatory or illegal content.
- Don't remove the watermark by technical means other than spending an export credit.
Your content
Your photos and the images you export are yours. Because processing happens in your browser, we never receive or store them and claim no rights to them.
Accounts and export credits
- Watermarked PNG export and the embeddable slider with its small credit link need no account. Signing in with Google adds watermarked GIF and MP4 export and 3 free export credits, granted once per account.
- One credit buys one watermark-free export: an HD PNG (up to 4096 px), a GIF, an MP4, or an embeddable slider without the “Made with” link (the embed with the link is free). A credit is used when the export starts. If the export fails in your browser, the credit is returned automatically.
- An export pack costs $9.90 (USD) for 40 credits, paid once through PayPal. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Credits never expire, have no cash value and can't be transferred to another account.
- Prices may change for future purchases; a change never affects credits you already have. If we ever close the service, we will refund unused paid credits.
Refund policy
- Unhappy for any reason: email us within 14 days of buying a pack and we will refund the full amount, as long as you have used 5 or fewer of that pack's 40 credits. That is enough to check the exports work for you; credits returned for failed exports don't count as used.
- Exports don't work on your device: if paid exports fail on your device and we can't fix it, we refund the unused part of the pack, even after 14 days.
- Free credits (3 on sign-up) can't be exchanged for money.
- Include the PayPal transaction ID or the email address you signed in with. Refunds are usually processed within 5 business days, back to your PayPal account. A refunded pack's remaining credits are removed from your balance.
- This does not limit any rights you have under consumer law in your country.
Availability and warranty
The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or available at all times, or that it will work in every browser. Keep your original photos — the service does not store copies.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top.
